To avoid false alarms, it has an adjustable time delay of 5 to 30 seconds, triggering only with sustained applied weight. Compatible with most duress and staff attack systems, the DTA sends signals to alert the clinical team via audible alarms, staff indicator panels, pagers, handsets or the main nurse station computer.
