The Hipac range of door closers has been specifically designed to minimise ligature risks and work in conjunction with full length hinges. By design they are concealed when installed to further minimise risk of ligature and tampering.

Concealed Door Closer
The requirements of anti-ligature installations and those of door closers invariably contradict each other. The necessity of a linkage between the door and the frame always creates a ligature point when the door is open. -
Floor Mounted Door Closer
The Floor Mounted Double Action Door Closer can be used in conjunction with the double or single swing hinge. This door closer is a discrete solution that can be used in areas of high risk to minimise ligature points. This closer can be supplied with an optional mechanical hold back feature. When the door is opened to the required hold back point, it will latch in position and remain open until manually pulled, to disengage the hold back.This product has multiple variants.
