Ligature Alarms
The Hipac range of ligature alarms are designed to detect ligature attempts and alert staff. These products can be integrated with staff attack or nurse call systems to ensure staff are alerted to a ligature attempt and are able to intervene in a timely manner. Ligature alarms are an important consideration in the design of doors within mental health facilities where it isn’t possible to minimise the ligature risk through design or constant observation.
