SECURASTOP anti-barricade door stop prevents outward swing in normal use and rotates clear for outward opening during barricade access—ideal for mental health bedrooms.
The SECURASTOP is an effective solution to overcome barricade situations when installed in combination with a double swing hinge. It is a full length, frame-mounted stop that, during normal use, locks securely to the frame, preventing the outward swing of the door leaf. In the event of a barricade, the SECURASTOP can be unlocked and rotated out of the way of the doorway, allowing the door leaf to swing outward away from the barricade and allowing access to the room. It is well suited to bedroom doors within mental health applications and similar applications.
