The Hipac load release anti-ligature ensuite doorset is specifically designed for “at-risk” patient environments like mental health facilities. Balancing privacy and safety, these saloon-style doors will detach if abnormal loads are applied, ensuring patient well-being and dignity. The magnetic mounting system allows normal opening/closing and privacy return but releases in ligature attempts. Waterproof and durable, these lightweight doors minimize the risk of being used as weapons. They can be interchanged for room personalization and temporarily removed by staff during aggressive behaviour. Quick and easy retrofitting to new or existing frames minimizes downtime, with installations coordinated to avoid room closures beyond a few hours.
